New adventure....

It's been a looooooooooooooong while since I blogged anythin here so thought of sharing some news from my side of the world...

Good news first...Am getting ready to start my MBA program at the University of Arkansas!! my orientation starts on Aug 14th ....yeah 2 more days to go...:) It's been a hectic few months....first prep for GMAt, then TOEFFL, then my parents came from India....and then all my essays and other admission procedures for MBA...Phew!! Am tired....i have already lost considerable pounds in these few months so I wonder what will happen once I start my course....

Anyways, am really excited for this opportunity. I will continue to work full time at Wal-mart and will be pursuing the course part time.....

On a sad note, kaimal maaman passed away 2 weeks back....It was all of a sudden and we least expected anything bad! amma and achan are sad that they could not be there with him during his last moments....But as they say "man proposes, god disposes"..May god rest his soul.....

Back to happier thoughts.....Abhinav Bhindra has done our nation proud by winning Gold at the olympics....Way to go Abhinav....It's not everyday that we get to hear our national anthem playing at the olympics!! on this note, i bid adieu
